Boo! New Ghosts for You!

It's been a while since I had a minute to write a blog post, but I just wanted to let you know that there are some new ghosts on the way!

You may have seen that I have already updated the website with some familiar old faces - this does include our seasonal Kentish Spring Ghost which will be available in limited numbers until June, when our Summer ghost arrives.

Tonight we'll be unveiling a brand new ghost which I'm hoping will also become a regular feature; our White Cliffs ghost, which represents the stunning White Cliffs of Dover important not only as a natural habitat, but also used for centuries as a line of defence for Britain. Deep within the chalky walls lies a series of tunnels - some as yet unexplored. There are various stories behind them and their age, but during WW2 these led to vital war rooms which aided in the Victory in Europe. These tunnels also contained hospitals, and it is well known that there are various mysterious figures who still roam the corridors, from nurses to soldiers...

All of these spook are a huge labour of love. I still don't use moulds (although sometimes I wish I did!); they're all hand moulded from air dry clay with traditional clay tools, and then painstakingly sanded and every one is painted by hand. This is, what I feel, makes our ghosts unique and gives them their own individual personality.

We're celebrating our 4th birthday this month, and it's hard to believe that there are Kent ghosts all over the world now! In that time I've won awards, sent ghosts to celebrities and been able to donate both money and ghosts to various causes.

I'll be running our very first competition at the end of the month to celebrate. It's been a fantastically spooky ride, and I hope I'll be able to make many more ghosts in the years to come 🖤👻

Thank you so much for your incredible support! 🖤🖤🖤🖤
