This service has only been made available as I have had several requests regarding In Memoriam ghosts. This service is by very special request only, and should I choose to take on a commission of this nature, it will be handled in a sensitive and respectful manner.

Please note, regrettably I cannot incorporate a loved one's ashes into a ghost

- I personally see to it that your commission will be handled with the utmost respect and dignity. I am a trained Samaritan and used to dealing with situations which are sensitive in nature, so I will do everything I can to ensure that your final piece is a suitable memorial. Memorial ghosts can be made as standard, Tall ghosts or ghosts in jars, in which you may wish to place a small keepsake.

 

- Each ghost goes through various processes including; drying, sanding, painting, and finishing. This process can take anything from 14 days to 6 weeks depending on the finish that is required, the drying time of the clay, and any custom requirements. Please allow at least 6 weeks notice prior to the date you will require your piece, (10-12 weeks if you are outside of the UK); this includes time to discuss colour options and how you would like your certificate personalised.

- Once we have discussed your requirements, we will take a non-refundable deposit, (usually around 25%, but this will vary dependent on the amount of customisation involved), and Victoria will create your order from scratch. The deposit will cover the initial cost of the materials needed to create your order, as well as ensuring that the cost of materials is covered should you be unable to complete the order for any reason. 

 

- I'll update you with photos throughout the process, and any changes you require which are not due to my own error, will be chargeable once the process has started. This is because I take time over every single ghost, and remaking a ghost would mean the process starts from the beginning; please also remember that any changes midway may also affect the finish date.

I am happy to discuss pricing options with you based on your budget, so please feel free to message me regarding affordability. Price can vary dependent on the finish, (eg ghosts in jars may require larger jars to fit small keepsakes, there may be a specific colour scheme you require etc.)

Please also note that postage will be charged separately based on the size and weight of your order. It will be despatched via trackable post.

What We Need To Know When You Contact Us

Before contacting us with your query, please make a note of the following. This will enable me to be able to give you a more accurate quote on timings and price once I get back to you, and will also ensure that I have the space available for the custom slot.

I will never take on an order which I don't think that I will finish in time, or one I feel is beyond my capabilities.

• What size ghost would you like? (eg. in a jar/large/tall)

• What is your colour scheme?

• What is your timeframe? (eg. the latest date it can arrive with you)

• What would you like on the Certificate? (I will let you know if it will fit, as there is limited space)

• If your ghost is in a jar:

• What colour moss would you like, if any? (For reference, all of our standard ghosts have coloured reindeer moss in the bottom)

• Would you like any small keepsakes included? (Average jar opening is 4cm, so small jewellery trinkets/cuff links etc. are fine, anything larger will require a larger jar which we will discuss - these will need to be posted to me via recorded/trackable delivery in order to complete the commission; I cannot be held responsible for precious keepsakes being lost in the post on their way to me)
